I seem to remember someone mentioning a certain wine they liked. Was the name - Rosa Regala or something like that?

Is so, I found some at World Market last week.

Rosa Regale - YUMMY!!! Goes amazingly with anything chocolate :cool1::thumbsup2

Do you remember the cost?

Does anyone know if we must use powdered or liquid detergent on the ship? I have read posts about the purex 3 in 1 but have decided not to take a chance on spotting. Thank you

They sell powdered products onboard but the sheets should not spot .... IF you do not overload the washer. It's one of the biggest mistakes in laundry because we are inherently "CHEAP" and want to do it all in one load. Powder and liquid can also spot if put in an overloaded washer.

If you are still concerned then fill the washer first with the sheet in it; let it run for about 15 seconds and then put your clothes in the washer. :thumbsup2

Dee---sorry, where is the pattern on the website. :confused3: Not sure how to do this.
Thanks. Sandra

Clicking on the link in my post should take you there. But you can just copy and paste the following into Word and print:

Finished project is about five and a half inches wide and 60 inches long.

Instructions:

1. Cast on 16 stitches.
2. Rows one through four: Knit four, purl four, knit four, purl four.
3. Rows five through eight: Purl four, knit four, purl four, knit four.
4. Repeat these eight rows until scarf measures around 60 inches.
5. Bind off.
6. Cut off excess yarn and weave in ends.

Well I went shopping today - said I would not buy any new clothes for this trip but I have lost 25+ pounds and my clothes are too big on me :)

Krisann

Wow congrats on that weight loss, that is awesome! (I like lime green too)

Wow, I didn't think this would turn out to be 'scar wars'.

Scar Wars now that is funny :)

All those scars are just reminders of the wonders of modern medicine and the resilience of the human body. How many of us would have been dead of our various problems if they had occurred 100 years ago? (you know what I mean - if someone living 100 years ago had the same problem, would they have lived through it - and would probably be dead now)

The wonders of modern medicine, gotta love it, it keeps me beating :)

My Dad had one from about the sternum to a couple of inches below his belly button. In 1985, he was in an accident (15 mph) and hitting the steering wheel ruptured an aortic aneurism. He learned the hard way to wear a seat belt. :sad2: Fortuantely, he lived another 18 years but he was paralyzed and had contracted Hep. C from the blood transfusions. I still miss him. :sad1:

Kristi

Kristi, so sorry that your dad (and your family) went through that. How awful.

We got an upgrade!!! :cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

We are upgraded to a cat 9 and we have now the same stateroom B2B!!!
.

Yeah! I am so happy for you, so glad that worked out!

Question of the Day

What time will you be getting off the ship at Castaway Cay?

I'm lazy. I make dh and my older girls get off as soon as allowed, go stake out a spot and I leisurely make my way there with the little ones after the mad rush :)

I am in need of someone to take over hosting / organizing the following events:

Tastings : Notification of interested parties, once onboard
Game Day
Magic Fountain: Meeting location / times
Meet-n-Greet with Ship Staff

Please contact me via PM or e-mail only, as I do not monitor this thread anymore.

Two weeks from right now I will be in Orlando.....but then, who's counting?

Today I picked up prescription refills, returned library books, and took the big suitcase upstairs. Also got single use laundry packets and put them with suitcase. Small steps......

You betcha!

They also sell it onboard and at Castaway Cay.

I'll bet there will even be a commemorative t-shirt -- designed by Ducky Williams.

Woody

TA stuff will probably be the bulk of my souvenier/Christmas shopping :lmao:

Today I made photocopies of credit cards, front and back. If one gets lost or stolen, I'll have the phone number and account number to report it.
