Funny you should bring up crochet-- My Mom used to crochet a lot but hasn't in YEARS. She decided this weekend to start again & she is making gavin a blue & orange (Let's Go Mets!) "Granny square" blanket. I just called her and she said that "Granny squares" are all she knows in crochet-- I'm sure she can help out with this if you'd like.

Tinked - that list is mostly DIS activities - and a few DCL ones that we should attend en masse!

Just wait until you add DCL activities into the mix - you'll be going full throttle all day - and apparently, they get shorter as we cross the ocean.

Yeah, that's what I'm afraid of, but can't wait to see the 2010 navigators. I expect to do some heavy duty planning. I go to napkin folding everytime (this would be my 3rd) thinking it will stick without practicing or reading the directions. I like the cooking demos too but the wine tastings are wasted on me (designated driver). I'm hoping to see some of the movies too. And I like the ship tours. The list goes on and on and now I have to bring my knitting and add DISsers events. I'm going to need a vacation from my vacation. I guess that's why so many of you are doing B2B.

We still did not get our docs. I am still annoyed with Disney for not giving us anything. I sent them a long email with my thoughts on how they handled things. I probably got a big black check mark next to my name. It probably won't do any good but I feel better.

With all the activities I think we need 10 sea days to get everything in. Those of us continuing on the Med will be exhausted from all the great TA activities.

If you need anyone on deck2 to arrange anything let us know.

Good idea with the whiteboards.

How will it work? Say someone leaves behind an iPhone at bunco, and I find it. Do I post the Lost & Found just on my floor, or on all six boards? If I post on just one board, does the iPhone owner have to check all six boards.

Perhaps we could designate one board as the Master DIS Board for key messages. ("Two spaces available on early van to airport.")

General messages could go on all boards ("Award Lunch today at noon").

Yes, major changes. Only the luggage tags are the same.

Yes.... I LOVE these new ones!!!! They are full of information, they look great, and nice and organized! I love them!

Can I suggest that we bundle the Award Lunch with the Secret Mickey Reveal? Could we make this lunch of the 22nd and then follow up with the group photo at a set time for those who don't attend the lunch?

This sounds like a great idea for the 22nd.

Jeanne, glad you asked this. It was going to be my next question. Cause if we have to bring cash, might as well just bring euros. I did ask DCL if we could use our "leftover" euros to pay our onboard account. They said to exchange them back into dollars and then put them on our account.

I have tried out the Purex sheets to see how they worked before taking them on the cruise. I washed a load of scrubs and they have spots on them now. Something like a grease spot. Not all over or even every one but a few of them. My load of whites and printed colors were ok. I think you just can't see them. So, if you have solid colors, I'd be careful. I tried putting stain stick on the spots but it didn't remove them. So, I wear my scrubs with spots...

I've been in Orlando for the past few days, so excuse me if someone else gave you this tip. I'm still trying to catch up on all the posts since last Tuesday night. I use Dawn dishwashing detergent for stain removal. Squirt some on the spot and let sit at least a few minutes before washing. I apply the Dawn as soon as I notice a greasy spot then launder as usual within a few days. This seems to even get out spots that have been washed and dried in.

I hope it works on your spotty scrubs.

To aid in planning group activities, here is a rough listing of daytime activities from the 2007 EB TA. I have not included kid activities in any of the clubs, nor have I included sports or open-play game times in PL, Bridge, AA meetings, Craft Sessions... This is mainly to cover the areas we would consider using (Promenade Lounge, Diversions) and what I (Lynne) assumed would be the biggest draws.

PL = Promenade Lounge
DIV = Diversions
SS = Studio at Sea
Ses = Sessions
RBD = Rockin' Bar D
A of E = Art of Entertaining Series (these were not repeated sessions - each was a new one)
Towel = Towel Folding
Tasting = Various Alcohol Tastings
1:00 PL Spa Series are presentations put on by the Spa/Fitness group
I think I falied to list the various Destination Lectures.
This is definitely a non-all-inclusive list.

I use Dawn dishwashing detergent for stain removal. Squirt some on the spot and let sit at least a few minutes before washing. I apply the Dawn as soon as I notice a greasy spot then launder as usual within a few days. This seems to even get out spots that have been washed and dried in.

I also always use Dawn to clean my eyeglasses...just a drop and every smudge is GONE!

Yay- cruise documents made their way to Long Island today! My mom hasn't gotten hers yet, but usually she has to wait a day after everyone else, so hopefully hers will show up tomorrow.

How many times have you changed your after cruise plans? At least three I think. You only have a few weeks left to get airfare and hotels in place.

I was out in the barn tonight giving some animals their shots and I pulled a muscle in my leg. I almost had to crawl back to the house. I hope it gets better before we go on shore excursions.
