Does anyone have any recommendations as to what the temperatures will be during the 6 days at sea? I would really like to leave the heavy coat behind if possible.

Cruise documents made there was to CT today via USPS. My parents received theirs as well & I am a bit bummed-- I had booked my Mom a massage & a facial on two different sea days as a surprise for her (I put on-board credit on her room to cover the cost)-- and now she has read all about them! Bummer!

You are right, this needs to be scheduled in as well. Did we even decide a date and time? I know we all discussed it, but nothing was set on as a date (I don't think).

I would think that the last sea day would be good. EVeryone that is involved in Secret Mickey, give your input please. :)

Last sea day sounds great...anytime...any place....

No documents for us for a while...Travel Agent is going away and can't send them until her return on March 25th..I guess I can stop checking the mail.

:sad1: I don't have mine either...

sdlong329;35744956 ---I know many of us will have a "remarkable white board" on our stateroom doors. I was thinking it might be a good idea if we could get at least one stateroom on each floor (preferably mid-ship) with a white-board ... to make it easier for everyone to check (or post) last minute updates / changes. YOUR THOUGHTS? Perhaps this could be noted in the Mini-Navigator as well said:
I don't plan to have a white board but my room is right by the mid-ship elevator so if someone wants to put one on our door they can I just personally don't want to deal with buying one and getting it put on the door and stuff, and then obvously whoever put it there could take it home. Oh I'm on deck 6 the Party Floor princess:

---Sounds good to me. Did you want to piggy-back this on top of the Book Exchange (9:30AM), Knitting (10:00AM), Game Day (1:00PM), or other DISer event? It might be easier to schedule that way, as I am sure everyone's social calendar is filling up fast! You know how fast those Cougars move!
:cool1:

---Asking Shutters is probably the best choice. I would concur on the 17th or 22nd as well. I'm guessing a good location may depend on how many we have. Do we want to go with the atrium staircase. There's a wider set of stairs on deck 3, mid-ship, leading up to Shutters ... it may give us more space if our group is too large for other locations.

Can I suggest that we bundle the Award Lunch with the Secret Mickey Reveal? Could we make this lunch of the 22nd and then follow up with the group photo at a set time for those who don't attend the lunch?

Also, have we created a committee of judges for the stateroom door decoration contest? I don't remember that being nailed down.

Finally, I think we also need to schedule the stateroom tour.

 Phew! There is still so much to do! :sad2:

I would be willing to serve for deck 2.

I am willing to be the "info door" for deck 7

doing a happy dance! Got hubby's ticket home booked today - it is a round trip - which means he said yes to going on the return cruise! So now I am EB and WB TA! I cannot believe it - while it is 28 nights cruising (not all together) that is just a lot of time! I am looking forward to it. But we will not book until we get on this cruise.

--Great idea ... but can we ask for separate checks at lunch? It's always a pain to figure out who owes how much ... and people don't always tip the same as everyone else.
:lmao:

INFO DOOR
Deck 1 = available
Deck 2 = SDLong329 / Steven & Donna
Deck 5 = available
Deck 6 = available
Deck 7 = Krisann (with one "S")
Deck 8 = available

DisneyHeather ... I have an extra white board ... might be able to bring it, if nobody else volunteers.

--Check the first two pages of this thread ... contains lots of useful information. In addition, there are special links under the signature for Dee47 (spreadsheets), as well as AuntLynne. I thought I remembered someone having looked up the normal weather / temperatures for each port of call. Try searching the current (or previous) thread for the word, WEATHER.

Also - once you have posted 10 messages on DISboards, you are able to send and receive private messages. Feel free to make additional posts with tidbits of information about you ... who you are sailing with ... what DCL cruises you've been on previously, future DCL or Disney plans, etc.

CRUISE DOC's
--The Tyvek envelope showed up today! Looks like they revamped the method of shipment, as well as the contents. I think the previous set of documents was over the hill (and likely very expensive).

...I'm supposing they ask you how you'd like to be announced. If so, I'd like "Bobber". Do they announce everyone, or just returning parties? From your post it looks like they do it for everyone.

Yes, and it might be easier to have it written down on a card to hand to them, so you are not trying to remember what you want to be called. No sneaking on without acknowledgement.

Shucks, I was hoping they would have the Morning Walk at 9:30am as shown on the old navigators. Does anyone know if this is happening this cruise? Anyone interested in walking? I am interested in the Book exchange and knitting/crocheting. Looks like too many things to do already and not enough time. How can that be with all the days at sea?

Tinked - that list is mostly DIS activities - and a few DCL ones that we should attend en masse!

Just wait until you add DCL activities into the mix - you'll be going full throttle all day - and apparently, the days get shorter as we cross the ocean.

--Awkward ... I wonder how if they re-check the information, before delivery. Perhaps the tag gets scanned (before delivery), then updated? :confused3

Got an email from DCL today, notifying me of my cabin assignments (same as those listed on my CC account) for the B2B. Since the luggage tags for the TA were already mailed (with the cabin # from Round One of the assignments), he said to mark through the cabin # and write the new number on it.

When you say "last sea day" are you talking about the last of the six in a row - or the last one of all, the day before we hit Barcelona?

I think bundling the award lunch with the secret mickey reveal is a good idea.

I think we were going to have anyone who was interested vote on their favorite door. Majority vote wins.

Do we want blue ribbons for the winners or a certificate? If a certificate - then 8 1/2 x 11 or 5 1/2 x 8 1/2?

I have a re-writable board for my door...I can be the deck 5 designated white board (or tink board) if no one has been assigned yet.

Brooklyn ...adorable video !:cutie:

I have TA...she says she does not expect my docs till the 19th or so..... whaahdah ya kiddin me!...Im going to spontaneously combust!

I like the 22nd for SM reveal ... I was wondering what time we would make the group photo for since we have two eating times and the "dress up" will be for that evening. ... thoughts?

Cold and windy. We did not go up on the deck much during the crossing. Even the verandah was not used a whole lot do to it being so windy.

I think it is a great idea to combine the two. Last time DCL PACKED the navigators with so much to do.

Terrific! We're also on both.

If you ask Lynne (nicely!), she'll add +WBTA next to your name on the roll call.
