What is the cheapest way to get tickets to WDW for two days only? We have 3 adults and on child. We do not care about park hopping. At the park it looks like it is about $300 a day. I know No-expire is good and 10-day is the best deal, but I am not looking to spend $1800 right now, if I can help it. We have 2 days after the cruise (one in MK and one in Epcot) and looking for the best option. Undercover tourist does not sell 2-day tickets. We are DVC, but I don't think we will be able to really take advantage of the annual pass for $1600 this year.

Any ideas?

Not sure of the costs exactly but what we did in 2005 was bite the bullett and buy 10 day non expiring hoppers with the family fun package on it. That gave us a total of 20 days of parks (with 10 visits at theme parks and 10 visits at waterparks/disney quest, etc.) - we are still using them 5+ years later as we come and go before cruises! It was really a good deal for us in the long run - but hurt when we bought them. And the kids both have child tickets but are both over 9 years old now.

the undercovertourist.com has prices slightly lower than disney but I think most of the discounts start with 3 days and up. It's worth a shot checking them out. Also, they mail the tickets to you so unless you have them mailed to your hotel in Disney they might not make it in time before the trip.

So I have packed, unpacked and partly packed again our suitcases. I might be able to squeeze it in to two suitcases if it weren't for those darn heavier coats. I think we will need them in Germany afterwards. I am going to try and look at the weather channel today to get a better idea.

I am thinking that yes you will need coats in Germany this time of year. I looked back on our travels in Barcelona from 2 years ago - it was April - and we are wearing jackets in some of the photos so even there it may be necessary to have something. Could you carryon your coats?

Coat! :scared1: I knew I forgot to put something in the luggage, perhaps because I'm still using it. Guess I'll be making it fit or carrying it I have 3 or 4 sweaters but if it's raining or something I'd like my coat.

So I woke up way before my alarm was supposed to go off today...could I be excited? And I'm not even leaving town until Thursday night :rotfl:

Ok this may be a dumb question but if I want to mail postcards from each port will I need to buy stamps at each port? I'm assuming a US stamp won't work but figured I'd ask to make sure.

I've put in 3 long sleeve shirts and a light jacket? Do I need a sweatshirt too?

I'm running out of room!

While I did make magnets this weekend, I FORGOT to do the taxes. Was purposefully waiting til last minute to avoid paying it until we had to and now it's officially the last minute :scared1:

However printer is out of ink again due to magnet printing so must drive the 30 miles to civilization to obtain new ink cartridges to do taxes.

Forgot if I am to blame my newly acquired Xyron addiction on Lynne or Stephanie or perhaps a combination of both but I have learned that there is a reason to turn everything in the house into a sticker, laminate or magnet, or perhaps multiple combinations of those :) Thankfully I am out of printer ink, xyron cartridges, Michael's half off coupons and room.

Will resort to Facebook for comfort.

Thanks for the giggle first thing in the morning!

Measured my luggage and I'm fine (British Airways size allowances are generous, so I just have to watch the weight). Just have packing and door sign laminating to do, so now I'm feeling kind of cocky! There are still a few things to pick up at Target...and probably always will be.

The bills that are due while I'm gone are sitting on the table and I will mail those checks Thursday ('cause I won't have the $$ till Friday). As a matter of fact, I'll probably just be having 'clean out the refridgerator' meals the next four nights, because I'm out of money! Guess I'd better go pack my lunch. :upsidedow

:woohoo:FOUR MORE SLEEPS FOR ME! :woohoo:

Well, there's always the ship for buying a lovely new DCL sweatshirt!

I have some long sleeve shirts (cotton) and one pullover sweater. I'm hoping my light nylon jacket over those will do the trick. Just this morning I'm second guessing that and thinking I should bring my denim jacket too. And should I throw in my Disneyland gloves and scarf for late night hanging out on deck????? Decisions, decisions......

Also, Ariella have you cjanged tp 5524 or are you still 5020?

Hey There

My mom (Ariella46) is currently in room 5020. Her plan is to upgrade a port, if this happens we will do our best to let the powers that be know at port, we will write it on Brooklyn's message board and I will put a note on my FE at room 5524 stating the change. If there is no FE at room 5020 that says CAROL on it and you do not know where she changed to, you can leave my mom's FE in my FE and I will give it to her.

Clear as mud?:goodvibes

I am not sure if it would be a good thing or not...but... I would be willing to take the DH's with me to the Laundry room and teach them how to seperate close, wash and dry them....

My first job at 16 years old was to manage a laundermat near my house. I made $25 a week (cash ). It also taught me how to do do it right. I have been the principle clotheswasher designate of my family for 38 years. :laundy: I'll be happy to assist you in this class. :flower3:

Hi fellow Disney FAN-atics!
My husband and I are sailing on 4/10 and looking forward to meeting other cruisers. I realize we are too late to get in on all of the fun you have planned and hope to meet up with you anyhow! We live near Tampa FL (relocated from NJ) and are DVC members practically since it opened. My friends & neighbors think that I am always at WDW but I tell them that I was not there in April 09 at all!!
Looking forward to a great time and hopefully making lots of new Disney friends.

Kathy & Lou

 Welcome Aboard! It is going to be fun.

It sounds like you all live across the bay from us. We are on the north side in Lutz.

I probably wil be at the laundry room ironing with the rest of you. But if the price is right I might have DCL do some of the things. I am a type of person that does not like to wear wrinked clothes- I know it is crazy but that's me.

As for the Seville Tour we are taking Seeing Seville with Disney .

Thinking about ordering the special beer package for my husband's birthday on the 11th Hope it is not too late.

Are there irons & ironing boards in the laundry rooms?

This is getting serious.

If I remember correctly there are both in the laundry room so no stressing about that...:goodvibes

Yes! :thumbsup2

The only irons allowed onboard are those in the laundry rooms. The electrical circuits in the staterooms are not designed to handle the load that an iron puts on them. :scared1: Potential of causing a wiring fire. :guilty:

I'll iron some but I'll probably "let" DCL do some too! :laundy:
