I was just thinking about someone on this thread and wondered if they were still around; hadn't heard from them in a while. So I looked up "other posts by ..." - and there they were from April 2 - so long ago! When the pages fly by, you can lost in the shuffle. Or else they are sensibly packing and getting ready and not doing the procrastination DISboard activity.

I was in the middle of checking nametags to verify I hadn't forgotten anyone - oh yeah, there were several. I am using both the Master Spreadsheet and the website to double & triple check. We'll have some blank ones, but I don't want anybody to have even a shadow cast on their first day.

Just catching up with everyone, but I'm too tired to comment much.

Carryons are almost packed.
Pounds/Euros have been picked up and distributed to family members.

I still have 9000 things to do, but I'm going to bed early tonight. It's been a long day.

Well that did not go very well - I was making my FE gifts and all of a sudden I realized this was probably not the best idea I had - while making the gifts was going very well - they were lime green emboridered lace angels that were Christmas Ornaments - I realized that everyone may not celebrate Christmas! So I guess I will put those away and come up with something else. Did not even dawn on me when I was planning it out.

Alright, already...I did my taxes. Now the question is, will the state of Arizona have the money to send me my refund? I believe they ran out about last November!!! Man, I don't want a stupid tax credit for this year...I want to send a check to VISA!!!



Some of us here in AZ felt the earthquake this afternoon (not me...must have been too focused on my taxes).

Now to finish up rummaging through my luggage and taking measurements of my big suitcase. YOU GUYS will be seeing me in the same clothes several times, I may only bring about four 'outfits' for hanging out around the ship

Ok so I got all packed today into two suitcases...I'm sure I'm bringing too much but oh well. And then I read the comment about a size restriction on Delta which is what I'm flying home on so I had to measure the bigger of the two suitcases and it appears I'll be right on with the size it can be and my other one is a little bit smaller.

It's raining like crazy here and it's cold. I'm ready for the warm weather that's for sure. Back to work tomorrow but only for 3 and 1/2 days let's hope I can focus on work.

Yep, just one! That was a DCL 'Stack' photo from the 2007 med cruise. It's the first holiday w/o him so I'm sad. Just had the one child & also it was part of my 3rd incarnation in this life...lol, so a late bloomer as they say. Sorry, TMI?!


I did not even notice the earthquake here on central coast....weird, or not so weird since my family gatherings are so taxing.


Dry cleaning... it is way cheaper on the boat than where I live, so I just wash things, squish them into the suit case & have them pressed when we get on board (half price, I think). For dry cleaning, just send 'em off!!!

I can't believe how close this is... still 1,000,000 things to do, but loving every minute of it! Gavin's "Endanged Species" project is DONE (assigned Friday & due the day after we get home)... so now back to DCL!!!

Tomorrow we are going to Opening Day at Citi Field for the Mets (SO EXCITED!) Can I get a collective "Let's Go Mets"??? The packing will begin Tuesday (I hope!)

The kids and I completed the FEs today (whew). For those without a stateroom on the spreadsheet, here's what we did:

Anyone taking DCL tour to Seville? We decided to do it. It is a long way but I remember studying about it in school and would like to see it.

Just finished watching the UCONN women win over Baylor. Now for the championship on Tuesday.

Just FYI PrincessMonkey did not want her stateroom # public before the cruise. If you PM her she'll let you know, otherwise you'll get it at the port. This is possibly the case with other people with missing #s.

My son and I are taking the un-escorted tour to Seville. This give me the comfort of knowing the ship will not leave us if there is trouble and freedom to do things on our own.
