We were all set to take our family vacation to WDW this November on a bounceback offer. DD just found out she is expecting and due date is Nov. 4. She's having sickness now and doesn't want to go during the summer due to the heat anything after that is too close to due date. Question: anyone ever had any luck rolling a bounceback offer to another year? I thought I'd read that somewhere before but called Guest Services and was told no it must be used by this year. Was just wondering (she seemed really grumpy) if I should call again and hope to get a different CM. Anyone ever had luck with rolling a bounceback?

Congratulations on the upcoming blessed event! I hope your daughter gets over her morning sickness soon and begins to feel better.

The bounceback offer is just like any other discount offer. It is only good for the dates that were given in the flier you got in your welcome package. Of course, there's always the possibility that someone will sprinkle you with pixie dust, but the first CM that you spoke to was correct.

Can you take an earlier vacation without her? I'd look at the dates that the Bounceback was offered and see if you can fit in a small vacaction for you and your spouse, and hope to get a BB for next year when your DD (and whoever else) may be able to go.

First, Congratulations!

Unfortunately it is unlikely they'll let you move it further than the BB terms, but give it a shot a few more times before giving up. Maybe you'll find a CM having the best day of his/her life and get some magic. I would also call and ask for a manager and not just the person that picks up the phone. I think they would need a manager to approve it anyway. Go to the source.

This is what i was going to suggest. Take a long weekend or something. Have a few days of fun and then rebook a new BB while you are there.

Thanks for the ideas but DH isn't a Disney fan. We've taken trips with just the two of us in the past and the last one he remarked that Disney isn't his cup of tea. He will go for the Grands but a trip for the two of us would be a different destination. I may try calling once more as it gets closer but it sounds like we will just have to cancel and hope a discount is offered in 2015. But it's still all good because we are going to have another little princess or prince to take to see Mickey:)
