Bounce back offers for 2016 dates???

I have a bad habit of planning the NEXT Disney vacation even before we have went on vacation! We are coming to WDW this August. I have never used the in room bounce back offer before. What are the chances that it will be valid for a trip that we are planning for May 2016? Or is the offer for dates usually just within the current calendar year?

I believe August is the changeover month for dates into the following year. It could be either, but chances are better the later into August your trip is.

Usually the bounce back that is in the rooms in August is for free dining for select dates Aug-Oct of the next year. The BB room discount for the next year usually comes out later, usually in October. So the room only BB for 2016 would most likely be available in Oct 2015. But it is always a good idea to call the bounceback extension from your resort room phone when you are there and ask about the current bounceback offers. We were able to get a bounce back room only discount for the next year before the information was even placed in the room. I found out about the discount from people here on the Dis and that is how we got it so early. I think the CM was surprised that I knew it was available.

So not to hijack this thread but for clarifying, we are going this August as well and hoping for a BB for FD for August 2016. Are we likely to get this BB?

If Disney is consistent with their offers then you have a good chance for getting a FD BB for next August. Let's just hope they stick with tradition.
