My husband and I have a 2 week trip planned for June. We are planning a split stay with VGF booked for our first week. We currently have Animal Kingdom - Kidani booked for the second week (husband's favorite resort). AK is one of our home resorts but hubby is interested in Boulder Ridge or Copper Creek and we've never been to either. Anyone have suggestions which one to choose? Copper Creek was still in the preview center along with Riviera when we were last there and it looked nice but they all look great in the preview center. We will have annual pass and plan to use Disney transportation. Thanks in advance for any advice!

I love copper creek because it’s centrally located and the rooms are more up to date. I thought the rooms looked really nice in person though I haven’t seen them in the preview center to compare. Boulder ridge is due for a refurb in the next couple years. You can’t go wrong with either though, wilderness lodge is great!

If it's only you two, CCV is nice. Studios can be a hard commodity even in the off-season though, so if you land at BRV it is actually great. Quieter, lovely lobby.

We love them both, but would lean slightly toward CCV for the design of the rooms and location in the resort. But if only BRV is available, you can't go wrong with that either.

Thanks so much for your input, My husband really wants to stay at CCV based on the model preview and everything he’s read online but I wanted to be sure we weren’t missing out on something at BRV. Sounds like either will be great but we’ll give CCV a shot. Friday is the 7 month mark. Thanks again!

I'll be the dissenting vote here, we prefer BRV for the serenity & quietness. If you prefet to be in the main resort, then CCV is for you. We like BRV because when staying there, we feel like we're a million miles away from the hustle & bustle of the parks. It's 6 of one, half a dozen of the other, so you can't go wrong with either! I will second what someone else said, CCV are much harder to book thatn BRV, for the dates I was looking at anyway. Enjoy!

We really like BRV although agree that a refurb is in order. We really don’t hear a sound when we stay there and the lake views (from higher floors) are lovely. The Wilderness Lodge is a charming resort and I don’t think there’s a bad choice there.

I will warn you that CCV books studios with a tub or a shower as separate booking categories. Looks like tubs are pretty much a non-starter at 7 right now unless some of them switch.

Not sure if only having a shower is a deal-breaker for you.

Did you end up booking Copper Creek?
