Bought PHP passes at Disney Store

Bought my PHP passes from TDS Saturday. People were very cordial and helpful. Went without a snag other than the manager telling me that there was no Disney Club discount on the tickets anymore. I told her "Oh, yes there is". She checked and said yep you're right. The transaction went very quickly. took no longer than buying an item in the store.

I had read that others had problems with TDS pass purchases, bought these at Arbor Place in Douglasville, GA...

Buying the passes always makes the trip real for me. Once I have them neatly put into my Passporter, life is good!

I wish we had the same luck as you did photobob!! On Friday we went to get our PHP passes at The Disney Store (about 1 hr away) and when the salesperson went to enter them into the system she said they would not go through due to a thunderstorm that day, they could not connect to Florida to activate the tickets!! She was going to try again using a different "password"? but there were no PHP left in the store!
We have called for 2 days now to see if they have received anymore PHP passes and they say "maybe tomorrow" ! We leave on Sunday and our week is pretty busy to be traveling back to the mall AGAIN!! Looks like we may end up having to wait until we get to the Resort and forget about our Disney Club discount or saving any money- wish me luck!!!

You are still able to get them before to get to WDW....

You can buy AP/PAP at the airport Disney stores and still get the Disney Club discount and they will be activated for you so no more steps once you get to the parks!

It was about an hour drive for me as well so I'm glad it worked out. I was apprehensive since I'd read about others with problems. The DC discount on the passes is my main reason for having the DC card.

Not exactly sure what "PHP" is. But I thought the main gates at every park would give the Disney Club discount on AP's. Has something changed?

Nothing's changed. You can still get your DC discount on AP's and PAP's at the gate at WDW.

PHP is Park Hopper Plus pass.

There is no more Disney club discount at the gates. The discount is not available on 4 Day Park Hoppers either. To get the discount you need to purchase in advance at TDS, through the Disney web site, or by adding passes to your resort reservation in advance.

We bought our 4 Day Hoppers at TDS and they worked just fine at the gate (I was skeptical!)

You can also get the discount on the tickets by calling the DC 1-800 # and order them in advance. They have to be purchased 5 days before your actual arrival date and you can pick them up at the gate.
