Bought another Travellers Cheque Card

Bought $1000 card online sat afternoon, arrived today. Just activated it and have checked balance but of course there is not the "free" $100 on it just the $1000. Says to give it 5 days - please make this easy!

Anywhere that accepts American Express. Otherwise you can withdraw the $ in cash from an ATM, but it charges you £1.50 per transaction I think.

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone for posting about this. I have just bought the Thomas Cook travellers cheque card online with $2000 on and $250 free. It cost me £1176.47 (rate is 1.7 at the mom) plus £15 fee so for £1191 I have got $2250 which works out at the great rate of 1.89

I am really happy about this as this is what I will use to pay for my room only reservation at the Poly and AKL, I really wanted to pay it in advance but if I get an AP rate I can't do that apparently, this way the money is there on the card ready to use so thanks again everyone....
