Bought a house, now don't want it

Do you feel it's an attachment to your present home that is giving you second thoughts? we were *this close* to moving (only b/c I don't love my neighborhood - like my house, but not my neighborhood). I've decided that we won't move b/c I think I would regret leaving our house. I'll put up with the neighborhood , but I think I would regret leaving the house (we've put a lot of work into it). Is that why you are having second thoughts?

I don't have an answer for you but all I can say is this: try hard to get out of it. If you are feeling this way now, you'll feel the same later....I know from experience!

I went through this years and years ago. We owned a double and I hated it. When we sold it and bought our current house I went through weeks of ups and downs. My biggest worry was the fact that we were doubling our mortgage payment and had no rental income coming in anymore. I can't tell you how many nights I layed awake in panic mode. Now 18 years later, I can tell you it was the best thing we ever did.
