Bottomline, what would you do!

Ok, hopefully on Feb 8, SWA expands their schedule. I need 13 seats for early Aug. The last time SWA posted their new schedule they were $119. They now are booking them for $74 most days. I know I can get a credit if I buy now and they lower them but there is little chance I would be able to use any, yet alone all of the credit within their time frame. Would you buy now probably guaranting being able to purchase 13 seats or wait for the price to go down? Does anyone know SWA history to lower prices for August and do you think there will be 13 seats available? Also how about your best guess as to when lower prices might be available?
Thirteen seats with a possible savings of $45 per seat or any saving is a substantial amount of money if I wait, but the Doctor bill for my nerves might be higher.
Please respond to me as I'm counting the minutes till the new period is posted.

How are you planning on booking--a reservation of 5 and then a reservation of 8? Personally, I'm as bad as the people on the DING! commercials...I hear the DING and I'm running to the computer! If you're consistent in checking for the sales and DINGS! then I would book part of your reservation now and wait to book the remaining later when the sales and DINGS! come out. It's still going to be nerve racking but if you can handle it, I would do it that way. You can still change the original reservation when the sales come out and have less of a credit to have to use later. I hope you can follow my ramblings! Good luck!!

You might not be able to get 13 seats at the lowest fare bucket, DING or otherwise. First decide if you're prepared to take different flights in order to save money.
