Bottles

Here is what I did when I went with my baby, individually wrapped sterile nipples that are disposable, just like the ones the hospital gives you. I put those on these:

Making the entire bottle not only sterile but disposable so no washing of anything. I took mine with me but I believe you can ship directly from amazon to your hotel if you are flying and are limited on luggage space.

We drug our huge sterilizer on the trip with us. Plugged it in in our room. We sterilized our bottles each night. I am glad for our upcoming trip my son is past the bottle sterilizing age bc that was a big PIA lol

This! Those pre-made, individual bottles are expensive but well worth it not to have to deal with the hassle while on vacation. We traveled several times with DD as an infant, and used the disposable bottles and nipples every time. Highly recommend!

if not using premade at home, make sure to try before you order to make sure your baby will drink. nothing would be worse than having a hungry upset baby and that baby refusing the bottle because it does not taste right. yes some babies who drink the powdered formula will not take the premade liquid even if it is the same brand

Super hot water is the least clean water source. Hot water tanks harbor all kinds of things. Oh and another thing, bottled water is bottled Florida water.

At the resorts, the hot water tanks cycle so much that its really difficult for anything bad to build up beyond what is in the regular water source. On top of that, the heat/soap combination does a great job on anything that needs to be removed. (this info from my nuclear/marine/mechanical engineer husband and bioengineer daughter)

We've bought bottled water in FL that was shipped down from ME - just need to read the labels to see where the water originates.

This is a very good point. While I thought the disposables were well worth the little extra money for the easiness of it, my dd did not care for those disposable nipples and the fact that the bottles didn't vent air like our regular bottles did. She did okay with it overall and still drank them, but there was some extra fussiness at first. Definitely try them out before you go, if you have a babies r us near you they sell them as pack of one bottle and one nipple together. You can try that before ordering in bulk online.

Our son's only liked the powder.
