Can I get a 24 pack of bottled water and pack it? I'm not really sure what it weighs but I was just wondering if anyone has done it or not? Please let me know if you think its worth it! Thanks!

Instead of the bottled water, why not get a brita water bottle. I purchased two of them (to share between 5 of us) and it worked out great!!!!

I've drank the Brita water before it its too soft tasting for me I like Poland Springs or Aquafina somethin not as soft tasting. Thanks for the idea though anyone else have any ideas?

What I meant was the brita water bottle with the filter in it so that you would not have to worry about bringing bottled water with you.. :flower:

How about breaking a 24 pack up into several suitcases. That is what we are going to do. There are 4 of us going.
My brother who recently went to WDW said that the water is really only "bad" at MK. The rest of the parks weren't that bad. Maybe someone else has had a different experience and can help us out here... :cool1:

We usually buy the 24 pack of water for $5-6 at Orlando local grocery stores and if you are a member at one of the wholesale clubs you can buy the 36 pack of water for $4-5, also the gas stations located in the disney area sells the 12 packs for about $3-4,
if you have a car you can visit one store for water and more and if you are taking a taxi from the airport they usually allow a 30 minutes grocery stop on the way.
while in Orlando weather one needs the daily intake of 3 liters to keep a healthy body, so get plenty of water either bottled or not,
usually restaurants in Orlando and Disney offer regular tap water with ice unless you buy a bottled mineral one, the same water is available at water fountains,
the taste, well my youngest call it swimming pool water and he refuse to drink it :)
Have fun :drinking:

We like to drink bottled water at home and on vacation, it's just second nature to us. We usually just buy it as we go, but if you want to, there's no reason you can't bring it from home. Weigh a case on your bathroom scale, and then decide if you will pack it all in one suitcase or break it up into several. (check your airline's website for their baggage weight restrictions)

We have always found that with the airlines generous baggage allowance (two checked bags per person, including children of course) that we are always able to take pretty much anything we have a mind to pack! LOL

Perhaps you could pack a bag with the water only using certain easily dryable clothes with it. If it leaks, all you have to do is dry the stuff--it's just water, after all. Although, I will say again, we really prefer to just buy it there.

We travel from the UK to the states and what we have found out is that they very very rarely ever check the weight of your hand luggage. As long as you don't look like you are struggling and the bad is not to big they will not ask. Well they never have us. So we always put the water in there.
