How much does an average bottle of water cost at the parks? I'm trying to decide how much to budget for water expenses in the summer heat!

We just returned from Disney on Sunday and a large bottle of water from the parks was US$2.00.

Hope this helps.

It's $2 but you can do what I do. I take a bottle into the parks with me and refill it from water fountains all over the park. Free and most of the time, cold water.

Small bottle is 1.25 which was enough for me, however it is May by June the bigger bottle will be needed. ;)

ANOTHER GOOD IDEA IS....................TAKE BOTTLED WATER ......WHEN IT IS EMPTY REFILL FROM THE FOUNTAIN AND PUT CRYSTAL LIGHT ON THE GO IN IT!! ITS AWESOME :thumbsup2

i agree- i will maybe buy a bottle a day and then refill throughout the day. i drink a TON of water at home, so I know i will in the heat too, even though i am used to it

<---dallas!

i love the crystal light stuff too- i try not to drink cokes (love them!) and don't do diet, so crystal light is a good alternative instead of just plain water. also good to use if you think the water fountain water tastes 'funny'

And don't forget that you can get a free glass of ice water at most CS restaurants. :thumbsup2

$1.50 for small $2.00 for large.

I bought the large one for MGM/ Stunt car show and it tasted good!

I agree that the water can taste bad at the parks, especially MK. We took Brita sports bottles for each of us. They have a very small filter in the cap, and when you sueeze out the water into your mouth, you get nice pure filtered water. Then you can fill the bottle at any fountain and it tastes great. Saves a lot of money on bottled water bought at the parks, or hauled around with you all day.

Y'all weren't kidding about the nastiness of the Disney-area water. Yucko.

I got 48 bottles of water at Kroger for $8 before our trip and we've been bringing in one to two bottles a day. I'm SO glad we did that! No nasty Disney water, and we're not going broke buying water in the parks.

We usually take advantage of the 20 min. grocery stop w/ Tiffany Town cars and stock up on water and juice to store in the fridge @ the hotel :thumbsup2

You can't blame the nasty water on Disney, it tastes and smells bad everywhere in Florida. There is a lot of sulphur in the water.

Sometimes its better to bring your own bottles.. If you think its too much to carry then dont bother and you can always buy one there and as stated before fill up at the fountains! You can even run into some places and ask them for ice...

Not true...I live in Florida, my tap water tastes fine. Water in certain parts of Florida is yucky, but not everywhere in Florida. Zephyrhills water comes from Florida and it is one of the most popular bottled waters. Florida has a lot of natural Springs with great water.

Well $2 is affordable for me if it means having fresh, cold water. I used to live in Florida and that's when my family got used to drinking bottled water...the tap water was horrid in Ft. Myers!

Thanks for the feedback. The Crystal Light suggestion is great, and I never would've thought of it (kills the nasty tap water taste). THANKS!!

I am from Clearwater and our water is not that bad. Now well water tha people use to water their lawns smells like rotten eggs! The center of the state does seem to have a little more bad flavor than along the coast.
