bottled water (NOT Dasani)

Following on from what JDarling posted maybe people would like to know why we in the UK don't have Dasani...

Does it really taste that bad? It had been totally withdrawn here now after the 'mishap' last year so I never got to try it!

I think it tastes fine and I drink ONLY bottled water, won't even drink my own tap water. While Dasani isn't my favorite....Aquafina is, I dont' find Dasani to be bad at all. Poland Spring and Dannon are NASTY to me.

I can drink, and enjoy, almost any brand of bottled water inlcuding Dasani, but I can't stand Evian, which is usually the most expensive! I think it tastes flat and stale.

I love dasani!!! I dont think it tastes any different but I hate Dannon, Deer Park and Arrowhead(??I cant remember the name but i think it is arrowhead) I love going to WDW because all they have is Dasani!!

Out of curiosity, is the broad preference of spring over mineral water due to taste or some other reason??? I really don't notice much of a difference in taste between various products.

I notice a taste difference... with a lot of them, it's a pretty fine point from one to the next. Dasani, however, is a different story; it's just nasty. (And this is coming from a Coca-Cola product fanatic.) Try this: get a bottle of Dasani and a bottle of Vittel (a good brand, IMHO) from the french pavillion at Epcot, let them both come to room temperature, and taste them both.

The parks switched from Zephyrhills to Dasani some years ago... I've run into some longtime beverage CMs as recently as last fall who say I'm not the only one who still complains.

Im so happy WDW switched to Dasani. I hated Zephyrhills!! I think im the only one on these boards that think this!!

You know we bought a gallon of water in the gift shop when we ran out last year and I do not think it was dasani. I really like dasani so it was not an issue but I just can not remember what brand it was. It would be fine to mix juice, drink in the room etc. We just can not drink WDW water and use the bottle stuff even to brush teeth.
BTW - we were at the WL.
