Both parks in 1 day which one first?

My boyfriend and I are hoping to do USF and IOA in one day. Is this even possible????? What park should we go to first? Obviously we don't care about the kiddie stuff and want the thrill rides and attractions.

It depends... If you're going on a day there will be Mardi Gras, go to IOA first and end at USF to catch the festivities. Otherwise, go to the park that closes earlier first. If they close at the same time, then go to USF first, IOA tends to clear out as it nears closing.

It can be done, I do it each time I go, I don't see the shows and I don't waste time to eat, I don't waste time shopping or browsing, but I see both parks each time I go.

You goto IOA first arriving early to the parking garage at 8am.
Take a lap going clockwise doing the rides in order. You'll hit Hulk (Front Row, then back), Spiderman, Dr. Doom, water rides, DD. You'll be done around noon, head over to USF. Use single rider line for MIB. Don't ride BTTF, it will make you sick. Do the movie shows, watch the parade, then head back to IOA for more rides on DD as the tired leave.
