What are some of your favorite restaurants in Boston or in the South Shore area? We always go to the same places, Outback, Venetian in Weymouth or Maggianos and want to add some new places to try. What do you suggest? :D

Do you ever eat at Hilltop Steakhouse in Braintree? DH loves it. La Scalas in Randolph has great Italian Food.

Hi Lynn CC,
I noticed you are from the Cape. Do you ever go to Captain Parker's? That's a must for us whenever we go to the Cape.

We enjoy the Abington Ale House, Bowsers Seafood (in Abington), Joe's American Bar and Grill (only in the S.S.Plaza) and we also go to the Outback. What type of food do you like to eat and what type of atmosphere (casual, adult only, family etc.)? I've also heard great things about Pasanos(? spelling) in Kingston I think.

We like casual, nothing fancy. Anything from Steaks to Italian, chicken so some Chinese food.

If you could venture up a little out of Boston, Floramos in Chelsea is awesome and its just what you said...nothing fancy, steaks(best tips around), Italian, stuff like that. We went there last weekend with another couple and we all raved about everything from the drinks, appetizers to the meals. Its not expensive at all and they give you a very good amount of food(none of us finished our meals). Its our favorite!

Capanellis in Braintree, LaScala in Randolph Carmen San Diegos in Abington, Abington Ale House and Vinny testas in dedham:D

We have a bunch of great seafood restaraunts here - big surprise. Seafood at the beach.

In Brant Rock we like Haddad's Ocean Cafe for a great family meal, big portions, reasonable prices. The are also very kid friendly - not a fancy place.

Also here in town The Lobster Tale is wonderful - mixed menu. A bit more upscale than Haddad's but not like downtown Boston.

Yes, cinmell, we go to Captain Parkers for the Chowder! That is in the next town over from us. It's a very busy place year round.

Whenever we bring DD to camp in Mashpee, we always stop at Lindsey's in Wareham on our way home. I really enjoy the food there. DH is not a seafood eater, but I love their seafood.

La Scala in Randolph--YUMMY YUM YUM (they are also the owner's of Mother Anna's in the North End so you know it's good)

Ciro's in Marina Bay or on Main St. in Hingham

Crispi's in Bridgewater

Not Your Average Joe's in Randolph (very eclectic decor, but the food is TOP NOTCH)

La Storia on Rt. 138 in Stoughton

*Great, now I'm hungry, and DH has gone to bed already! ;)

I;m going to Vinny testas tonight, I can't wait to have the bulbs of garlic, oh and they are suppose to have the best sangreia (sp) (hickup) I'll drink a couple:D

right off the marshfield exit of route 3 try Boca .

If you can make it down as far as plymouth, there is an incredible place, it's a hole in the wall in a shopping center but the food is incredibly good.
Martha's Galley

I second Ciro's. It's really great.

If you are in the mood for a ride, try Coriander in Sharon. Just phenomenal (and you might run into Tom Brady there...he's been there just about every time I've been there and I go there a lot since it's close by my house).

Also Isabella in Dedham center is wonderful...parking is not so great but the food is worth the search.

I was just at Blue Ginger in Wellesley on Saturday night. Always perfect, never disappoints, and Ming comes by all the tables. The peppercorn lobster is to die for.

Tom Brady?! You've met Tom Brady?!

I haven't met him...just eaten at the table next to his. And across from his. And two tables down from his. And walked passed his on the way to my table.

It's a very small restaurant (about 20 tables tops) so it's not hard to miss him. :)

Hi neighbor! Taunton here. I enjoy Lindsey's as well, they have a great beef stew and their fish and chips are delicious. As far as places that I like to eat, Not Your Average Joe's in Randolph has really delicious food, plus they give you bread with dipping oil at your table. I like the Stoneforge in Raynham, they have a good smoked salmon dinner on the menu once in awhile. Other then that, the Rue in Providence is my favorite place to eat, the food is to die for.

If you like Mexican La Palomas in Quincy is great.

I am no longer a big fan of Ciro's. I feel the food has not been as good in the last few years.

Sky and Jacobs on Rt. 1 in Norwood are good.

Doyles in Jamaica Plain for a good time :D

NORTH Shore/Malden here....But when I DO go to the SS, I like Joe's American B&G in the mall!!!
