In addition... I have no idea where you are coming from and I don't want potato salad traveling 3 hours!

We need salads, appetizers and desserts.

We also need a cake...I have an Italian bakery here in town that I planned on calling BUT...

If there are any cake bakers or someone with a creative bone in their body who would like to make it , let me know.

oh and I'd appreciate help keeping this on page one so everyone who is coming can see it..

DH's aunt owns a wedding cake shop in Cambridge....I'll give her a call and see if she can make one for the meet on such short notice!


RATS! I just called her and they are closed next week for vacation She would've made the cake but they are leaving to go away tomorrow. Sorry! I know she would've made an awesome cake. For DS's birthday she once made a medieval castle cake, 3-D, with a moat and everything. She's not a bakery, she specializes in wedding cakes....beautiful cakes that look like art work! Oh well....

I'd be willing to bring just about anything! I am not a fancy baker, but I'd be willing to bake a couple of "regular" sized cakes, 13X9 size, maybe one chocolate and one vanilla. Unless of course you're looking for something more professional looking. LOL It's really a shame DH's aunt's shop is closed next week, I know she'd have made an awesome cake for the meet.

So...I can make 2 cakes... AND/OR something else.....

Alex: Do you have ketchup, mustard,relish, etc? I can always bring those items as well as pickles, olives, etc.

Or DH can make his homemade sauce and we can bring a crockpot of sausage and meatballs...?

P.S. I will be away next Thursday through Saturday, but I'll be back Saturday afternoon, in time to bake the cakes, or make whatever, so don't worry if you don't see me online those days, we are definitely planning on coming
