Borrowing/ressie ?

We are new DVC members at AKV'S. We received the developer points at SSR as part of the incentive. My question is this, We are going to try and make a ressie for June at SSR but because it is not our home resort I have to wait until 7 months out to call, which would be November. We want to stay in a studio for 10 nights but in order to do this, we need to borrow 2 of our AKV points. Here is where I am confused. We have a December UY, so we will not "get" our AKV points until December. Will I still be able to make my full reservation for 10 nights at SSR and borrow the 2 points at the time I make the ressie at 7 months, even though it is before I actually receive my points? I hope that made sense!

Yes, DVC members can make reservations based on what points will be available at the time of the reservation - not on what points are available when you make the reservation.

You should be fine!
