Borrowing questions

Okay, I am feeling dumb tonight. I have thought about this so much I am hopelessly confused.

We have a June use year. In our 2008 pts I have 12 pts at BW and 55 at SSR left over. We want to book F&W for next fall at BW. Since I will be traveling in 2008, will I be allowed to borrow in from 2009 pts? Otherwise, I am thinking I have to book using the 12 BW pts and then wait a few months to make the rest of the ressie with SSR pts, correct? And with the new rules, is this at 7 mths? We really prefer to stay at BW since it is so convenient.

Note:I did read the same sort of email below, but am still confused because I am thinking 09. From what they say in the other thread, it shouldn't matter, since it is based on dates I travel, but it just seem so unlikely that I could borrow that far ahead...

So, it sounds like you've already borrowed some of your 2008 points for trips prior to next June?

Yes, at 11 months you will be allowed to borrow points from your June 2009 Use Year for travel between June 1, 2008 and May 31, 2009. Right now you could make a reservation for dates between June 1, 2008 and September 18, 2009 and borrow from your 2009 Use Year. You do not need to wait until your SSR points may be used. Just remember that borrowed points cannot be returned to their original Use Year.

Yes, I have an upcoming GV and 1bdrm trip coming up with family that took almost all of my points. So glad to find out that we'll be able to go to F&W too, since we bought APs!
