Borrowing question!

Hi all-
I called MS yesterday to inquire about availability for 1 night in October for a studio at VB- MS told me they couldn't make the reservation because I am in my 2002 use year (my use year is December) and I don't get 2003 points until 12/03, but, I've already used my 2003 points (I knew that!) and I wanted to borrow from 2004. Am I missing something? The ressie would be more than 30 days from now but less than 30 days before my new use year begins. help. I know I am probably confusing you all (I know I'm confused ) Any thoughts??

Is this correct? You have already borrowed and used all the points you will be getting in December 2003. You wanted to borrow points from December 2004 to book a room in October 2003.

If that is right, MS told you correctly. You cannot borrow ahead two years, only one. You can borrow from December 2004 for stays starting December 2003 forward.

Thanks Pam!! If MS had put it as succinctly and as clearly as you, I wouldn't have had to post!! Now I understand. I booked the room on cash with the Member Discount and it was $125 for the night. Thanks alot again!
