borrowing points

I'm little bit short of points and I don't know if I can do this :
I have three resorts and two UY, and I have to borrow points for my next end of june trip, I would like a AKV stay and I'm not sure if I can

I have 200 BWV and Saratoga and dec UY but no more point for 2008, full in december 2009.
I also have 60 Vero points with august UY, these are available for 2009 nothing 2008
I dont have enough points with my Vero contract, can I borrow points on the first of december on my BWV and Sarat contract ?

You can borrow from any of your 09 UY contracts, but I am a little confused as you say you have two resorts but list BWV, SSR and VB Also if you have BWV and SSR is that 200 points at each or 100 combined to make 200?
I would borrow from the contract I would least likely need the 11 month booking window for so that would be the SSR contract then maybe the VB contract if the points needed was more that the SSR contract had. Also you can borrow whenever you like, you do not have to wait until the start of your UY.

You would not have to wait until the first of December, points use is based on date of stay, not date of reservation. All points are available in your account.

For a June 2009 stay, you could borrow 2009 from any of your contracts and call at the end of this month (7 months from check-in date).

Just to clarify....

You could not use points from SSR and VB for the same reservation, since they are different UY's, and different memberships.

If you wanted to do that you would have to either transfer points from 1 membership to the other, or, make separate reservations using SSR points for 'x' number of days, and VB points for 'Y' number of days, and then linking the reservations.

Here is another question you all knowledgable folks may be able to help me with. I am planning on a April 2010 DVC trip. I will bank 160 pts from '09 to '10so I will have 320 points to use in '10. Can I make my ressie in May of '09 for an April '10 trip even though I have not yet banked my points into '10 as I have a DEC use year? Also can I borrow from the 2011 points when that ressie is made in May '09 if needed for the Apr '10 ressie? Thanks.

Dec is a very tricky UY, sometimes it helps to map out the points:

If you have a DEC UY, your points will be valid as follows:

Dec '09 UY points: valid from Dec 1 '09- Nov 30 '10.
Dec '10 UY points: valid from Dec 1 '10- Nov 30 '11

If you are planning an APR 2010 trip, you will have to use your Dec '09 points and possibly borrow from your Dec '10 points. If you are planning to bank for your APR trip, they would have to come from your DEC '08 points. (These points are valid Dec 1 08 through Nov 30 09, but you could bank them into Dec 1 09 -Nov 30 10).

If you plan to bank, you should do it prior to making the reservation (and of course after the points become current UY and prior to the banking deadline ). You could do it on the same call with member services, just advise them about banking before you make the ressie.
