Borrowing Points Question

Ok, trying to understand a bit about Points borrowing and looking into the future... please bare with me on this... I have issues with pre-planning. We have a FEB use year.

Ok, we are planning a trip Dec 2007. For that trip we will need to use all of the 2007 Use Year Points and borrow all but 2 for the 2008 Use Year. That is straight foward and easy to do.

Where I am having questions about is the next part:

My wife and I would like to attend Food and Wine Festival 2008. We will not have enough points having already used our 2008 points during the 2007 vacation. Would it be possible to borrow from our 2009 points for this 2008 trip, even if we made the reservations 11 months out (in 2007)? Or would we need to wait until Feb 2008 and borrow then? Is this even possible? The numbers are messing with me tonight for some reason, so I am hoping the eyes of others can either confirm this or tell me what is incorrect in this scenario.

When you make your reservation has nothing to do with your use year. As long as you have the points available you can book at 11 months at your home resort.

So in your scenario, you can make your Dec 2007 trip using your 2007 UY points and all but 2 of your 2008 UY.

Then you can go in October 2008 to F&W using your 2 2008 UY points and as many of your 2009 UY points as you need to make the reservation. You can book this at the 11 month window at your home resort, or any other DVC resort at the 7 month window.
