Borrowing from One U/Y to Another but questions since U/Y Month?

Hello.
Over the past week, I have learned alot about my current points, what I can use them for, not use them for and how they were used to book my current reservation since it spans over two U/Ys (special thanks to sandi for ALL the help!)

But, I have still another question....

My use year is September
I currently have a reservation from August 26-September 2, 2012.
IF I planned on upgrading my nights of September 1 and September 2 to the point where I no longer have any points left in my 2012 September U/Y, would I be able to borrow a few points from my September 2013 U/Y?
I'm thinking I cannot but I really don't have this whole thing down anyway.

I did try to look on the DVC site before I posted yet another DVC question about borrowing but I cannot locate it.

Yes, I believe you can borrow from your 2013 UY for Sept 1 and 2. We had a stay over my Dec UY (Nov to Dec) and my new UY points applied directly to my Dec days. So I would think once you go into your next UY, you can borrow from the following even in one reservation.

Yes you can borrow points from your Sep 2013 UY for stays from 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2013.

With a September Use Year,

2011 UY points can be used for stays from 9/1/2011 - 8/31/2012
2012 UY points can be used for stays from 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2013
2013 UY points can be used for stays from 9/1/2013 - 8/31/2014
and so on through the end of your contract.

You can bank points from one UY into the following UY. If you bank Sep 2011 UY points into your 2012 UY, they would then be valid for stays from 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2013.

You can borrow points from one UY into the previous UY so if you borrowed points from your Sep 2013 UY into your 2012 UY, those points could be used for stays from 9/1/2012 - 8/31/2013.

As a specific example, we have a one-day stay coming up at Boardwalk. We finished up our 2012 February UY points last September (borrowed our 2012 points which "made them" 2011 points).

But we've borrowed the 28 points for the Boardwalk stay from our 2013 points for this little February 2012 visit.
