It's been a while since we've had to borrow points so I need to ask a question.

We have an August UY and are planning a Feb 2015 trip to stay at our home resort Kidani.

I know I can borrow points from 2015 to stay at Kidani but we also own at BLT.
If I need some additional points from my 2015 BLT do I have to wait until 7 months out to combine those points and book Kidani???

let's say you are booking feb 5 for 6 nights, you can book the first 3 nights with AKV pts at 11 months out (starting as early as march 5, 2014). if you want to use BLT pts (banked/current or borrowed, doesn't matter) to book the remainder of the stay, you will have to wait till july 8, 2014 before you can book the remainder of the stay.

Yes. You have to wait until 7 months to use any BLT points.

Yes. At 7 months out your points can be used at any DVC resort, regardless of where their home is. You cannot combine your BLT and AKV points between 7 and 11 months out, but at 7 months out you will be all set. I would book what you can with your AKV points and then add the extra nights at the 7-month window.
