I wanted to know if I can borrow some points from 2015 and put them into my 2014 UY. Once in this years use year can I then make the transfer?

The person wants 32 more points then I have but I thought to borrow them so I would have enough to transfer to her.

You can't transfer borrowed or banked points. And the other person could not borrow them them either if banked into his/her 2015 UY.

It would depend if you are already into your 2014 points,meaning if your UY month is Jan or Feb. I would think . If not then you probably cannot.

There's really no depending. Borrowed points cannot be transferred. And transferred points can only be banked but not borrowed.

Banked points cannot be transferred, as stated above. You could transfer the 225 only. The person you transfer them to could use them during the 2014 use year, or they could bank them to the following year.

Click on the EDIT button for the first post, then click on the GO ADVANCED button. That will bring up the title box so that you can add CLOSED to the thread title. Then the next time one of the R/T mods looks at the board, the thread will be locked.

Once your 2014 Use Year begins on April 1, you can also transfer your 2015 points to another member.

DVC members are allowed to transfer points from the current and next Use Year to the appropriate Use Year of another member. My understanding of transfers is that 2014 points may only be transferred into another member's 2014 Use Year (and not into a 2103 or 2015 Use Year).

As noted, banked and borrowed points cannot be transferred, but transferred points may be banked to extend their use for an additional year. They will also retain their original Home Resort and Use Year status.
