Question:
If you borrow a few points from your next use year, then end up changing the reservation for smaller accomodations that doesn't need those borrowed points. What happens?
Will you be able to allot the borrowed points to the smaller accomodations as they will definitely expire in the current use year, and then bank the current use year points (as long as you're within the time constraints)?
Or are you required to use your current use year points first, and all of the borrowed ones must be used after you've already "spent" your current use year?
Essentially, are those borrowed points used first or last when it comes to the accounting of the situation? I guess that's the real question.
I'm not in this situation, just curious.
