Maybe I just haven't gotten over being called a "troll" for repsonding the the OP's topic and having most of you ignore that as well.

You should never have been called a troll. I don't know if I said that before personally to you, but I think I have stood up for the "trolls" and "invaders" on this thread many times.

Look the OP/lawman doesn't like me either. I am one of those "nasty" people "trying to play" peacemaker (never mind that I believe what I post).

Now we have a situation where I'm being told I'm wrong for discussing the issue because the rest want to see it go away. Typical.

Everything was just peachy when you were going on about homosexuals without any input from "invaders". Now that someone noticed, and noticed that it was the OP bringing up the issue, it must die. Typical.

Pages ago when lawman appeared I suggested we put this topic on another thread, why can't we just do that? (And there were references back then to being suspicious of the poster's intentions.) It's not for the sake of pushing anything under the rug, heck, it would probably be a lot more noticed. It is just for the sake of the many other people on this thread that do want to discuss the issues that may seem more "boring" to some people. What is wrong with that? I don't care who it is bringing the topic up, it is one that alreay got hostile pages and pages ago, and if people would like to debate it, more power to them, but why not take it somewhere else?

No one is wrong for discussing it or for posting on this thread, just think maybe it would work better on another thread.

Well I was not around for that, so I wouldn't know, but if this thread gets closed because you refuse to let something go then yes you will be punishing us because we will not be able to come here to fellowship. Is that what you are trying to do??? I understand that the OP offended you , but there is nothing we can do about it except apologize for upsetting you. Whether the OP will apologize or not is totally out of my hands. Please for the sake of others LET IT GO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Was just thinking about the poster a few pages back talking about the name calling, etc. from other non-Christian posters. Yes words can be painful for us to take but it saddens my heart for those posters doing the name calling.....made me think about the story of Elisha in II Kings Chapter 2 verses 23-24 and the bears the Lord sent to eat the kids who called Elisha bald head. We don't always see God's hand of judgement and it always doesn't come so swiftly, but it will come. The Bible says that we will be hated of men but God still does not like to be mocked IMO and Romans chapter 12 verses 17-21: Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord. Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. **Deuteronomy 32:35 - To me belongeth vengeance, and recompense; their foot shall slide in due time; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and the things that shall come upon them make haste. ** (This is the text Paul references in Romans)

Read Psalm Chapter 14 - I won't post it hear as I am sure I would be accused of calling some names while simply stating a verse of the Bible.

We need to pray for these people......the day our hearts become cold and hardened and don't ache any more for those who are lost is the day that we are in serious trouble. As believers we know how the story ends, and I don't wish that punishment upon anyone.......sow, tend, reap, sow, tend, reap.......IMO we are doing some major sowing here (although they probably don't agree)!!!!!

With all due respect, that has nothing nothign to do with it. Much more than just common disagreement.

Bring up the subject, discuss how wrong it is from a Christian POV, tell others they are wrong for thinking their beliefs are wrong, accuse others of bringing up the topic, sweep the whole thing under the rug when the truth comes out.

Lather, rinse, repeat.

It's the kind of thing that happens all the time, and it's about time somebody called them on it.

Cardaway, for goodness sake. To be honest the reason I haven't called out Acrucifer/lawman is because I think it is a waste of my breath. I won't get into all the reasons, but suffice to say that there is no winning with that person. He has been called out before on other statements he has made on this thread. People have already formed opinions and I think that is why you don't see everyone getting up in arms over it. We have already been there, done that with his particular poster.

For the record, no I don't think it is right if it is the OP egging this stuff on just to egg it on. I don't think it is right for ANYONE to do that.

This Psalm (Chapter 14 in whole) could be dedicated to the atheist. With the denial of God's existence often comes the moral decay described in verses 1-6 and which was used by Paul to prove the universal depravity of the human race (Romans 3:10-12). While they may deny that God is, the righteous finds in Him the object of hopeful prayer for deliverance.

It all kind of points back to our willingness to submit to a higher authority over us and acknowledge that one day we will each give account for the actions and things we did in this life. There are things in my life that I will not be proud to admit having done......I'm sure I will be embarrased by the many times that I messed up and didn't do what God wanted me to do, or do what He intended me to do with the resources He gave me. But I am assured that I won't stand there alone.......Jesus will say "it's okay, I paid that debt for you."

I am not directing it at anyone......the verse speaks for itself. If you look back at the original post that I mentioned this verse in.......I said that it saddens me to know what the end is.

I do agree that often times we as Christians can act very foolish too. But if you look at the verse and not try to read anything more into it......it is pretty self explanitory as to whom it is speaking.
