My DD would like to go to Cedar Point with her friend and her family. We will send her passport and a letter of consent to cross but does she need any legal document as well? Thanks.

Twice now we have taken DD's friend and her parents had a letter notorized by a public official. Neither time were we even asked to see anything pertaining to her:confused:

We took my 9 yr old neice to WDW with us last year. We had a letter signed by her parents, not notarized or anything, and we've done this before. The funny part was, I handed over the kids birth cert and both our drivers licenses, and the customs officer was more concerned about seeing our birth certificates to match with the driv lic (which mine doesn't because it's a different last name) than they were about why we seemed to have a small child that obviously didn't belong to us

I would just type up a letter on the computer, indicating that you know they are crossing the border, giving the parents authority to make legal/medical decisions for her while in their company. Include contact numbers for both you and Tony, and both of you sign it.
