I've only ever been in it twice, soooo don't feel so bad. We Californians are pampered for the most part.

Yes me too. But it does get hot in San Jose often, so I had to include that 90 in there. I get so sensitive to anything outside of that. Like today was COLD. I am wearing SWEATPANTS and SOCKS for gosh sakes.

And then today we are hitting the 70's. Such odd weather.

I had SUCH a looonng day today, but I just watched the Giants win so that's great. It's time to talk about my December trip though!!!

The dates with travel and everything are December 4th - 8th. For the last 4 trips we have done 2 days in the parks, but this time we are doing 3!!! Hey, it'll be holiday time so I deserve a good break.

Saturday December 4th we will be driving down after I get off work(so leaving around 4:30pm). We will be in the parks on the 5th, 6th, and 7th. Then we will be driving home on the 8th.

Since I let my AP expire in August(since I knew I wouldn't be going back until December and didn't want a wasted 3 months on my pass), I decided to buy a 3-day park hopper for the MM, but I will be upgrading again to a deluxe AP.

I had originally booked Anaheim Plaza Inn months ago for $59/night, but I found a GREAT deal at getawaytoday for Del Sol Inn. It's a get the 4th night free thing. So it ends up being less expensive and closer to Disneyland. I've never stayed at Del Sol, and it's not talked about much on the boards, but that's okay. We usually stay at Desert Inn which is right next door(and I think owned by the same people?) and we aren't terribly picky as long as it's clean. The distance is the real winner for us.

So along with the room, we also bought our 3-day park hoppers with GAT. They were a sweeet price of $181, which is a whopping $25 less than Disneyland prices. Unfortunately when I upgrade to an AP it will be with the price I paid not the price of a 3-day park hopper, but that's fine. At least my mom gets a great deal for her ticket.

Edited to add that we also got $20 off our hotel/ticket package. We used the promotional code "blog10" and got $10 off and then used an "online check"(which confused me a little) to take an additional $10 off. Soo an even better deal because that pays for the handling fee.

I know! I searched the forums but nothing came up except for other people asking for opinions on it. I'll be sure to post a review after our stay. It really is a great location, so it's a shame that it's not talked about more. I know everyone loves Hojo's(I have nothing against it), but some of us need more options.

I have been looking at the Maingate Ramada as a possible place for another trip myself. It has a great location.

That's how my brother would sleep when the family went camping, because he was so mad to have been taken away from his computer. He would just lock himself in the car the whole time.
