boots for big boys

DS has worn snow flurry boots from LE for years. Now he has outgrown them and we don't know what to try. I really don't want to spend a fortune either. He doesn't want lace up boots, he's 11 and wants "play in the snow" boots like his old ones.

I am in the same situation! DS now wears a men's 8 and I haven't seen anything similar to his old LE boots.

My DS10 likes the Airwalk snow boots at Payless. They come in boy's and men's sizes.

It's amazing how the price goes up as the size goes up to a men's. The cost of sneakers for my kids puts me into sticker shock and the winterboots My son has these boots:

They are out there for less money - I got them at Bob's Stores last year for $50 and then I had a coupon for 20% off.

We're working on our second year with them.
