Safety standards change over time. We moms (and dads) should strive to make the best decisions we can with the information we have at the time. If standards change, or if you're given wrong info by someone who should know better (like your pediatrician), and you find out later, it's nothing to feel guilty about. The important thing is that you got the info, and are making a different decision for this child. I think that's GREAT!
