When we went to Disney 2 years ago we took Peter's car seat on the plane, but now he's in a booster seat. I know I'll need one in the rental car, but has anyone ever used a booster on the plane, or should I check the seat, or just try to get one from the rental company? Anyone done this before? Thanks!

Booster's have to be checked. Only seats with their own restraint system can be used physically on the plane.

We take our booster when we travel--they are very light and easy to transport.

The only time i have rented them with Car Rental was in England when we rented a car for 5 days of a 14 day trip.

Yes, you can't take a booster seat on the plane...because boosters of course only work with shoulder belts. You'd never use a booster with only a lap belt. Since they're smaller (the kind without a back), I usually pack ours in our luggage and check it. I don't like using the car rental place's seats. They're usually poor quality. Have fun!!
