Booooo! still no November hours

This is starting to remind me of a couple of years ago when they did not post the hours until about 30 days prior.
They did that for a few months in a row then went back to 60-90 days.
Everyone was panicking, and it really stunk.

30 DAYS prior?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot wait that long- every hour i keep checking, hoping, wishing.......... Leaving 10/28 for 9 magical days and only have 1 ADR set up whats going on here!!! :confused3

I am getting fed up and stressed now, we want to make some advance bookings for fantasmic and other events and can't until we can check on hours.

I'm booked the fantasmic dinner package on 10/31 before October hours were out. Have you tried calling for an adr and finding out what days the fantasmic dinner package is offered?

I emailed this morning,

Message:
Can you please tell me why the November hours have not yet posted?

and here is the (what we who used to work in email customer service used to call) point and shoot, boilerplate response I just got:

Thank you for contacting the Walt Disney World® Resort.

Really, they haven't been posted? Duh, that's what I ASKED. Basically, it was a 'shut up and go away' answer. NOT very magical, if you ask me.

Here I go again...

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I don't feel much better.. :confused3

What I don't understand is how they can accept ADR's 90 days out and not know what their hours are going to be. Disney should know that people plan there vacations very carefully and would want to plan their ADR's in accordance with park hours. Very disappointing.

Here is my email...How can we raise this to the next level? maybe go to the CEO???? Maybe they are oblivious? :guilty:

When will November hours be posted??? I don't mean to sound like an alarmist...but this is getting a bit ridiculous! It's not just me...many friends I know of are really anxious for this info!

Can you give me an accurate ETA? :confused3

Looks like the op's e-mail. I'm guessing it's just a generic "just sit and wait" kind of message. So................I guess we just sit and wait!!!!

I wonder if the waffling (30-60 days) is the result of the Free Dining program? Oct 4, the end of the Free Dining, would be when they typically release the Dec hours, no? So, they may be toying with the idea of releasing Nov hours then AFTER they can see what the reservations and stuff look like after Free Dining is over.

It looks like they don't have accurate or reliable/historical figures to work with and thus are hedging on releasing the hours.

Just a thought. They may not know whether to keep the parks open until 9 or whenever because they haven't got a good read on park attendance after Free Dining is over.

I don't want to sit and wait!!! I have looked at every web site I can and even though I got my 2006 UG today, I can't exactly sit here at work and read it. They think I'm crazy enough and that I spend too much time talking and planning about Disney anyway! My office manager would shoot me if I pulled my UG out to read!!! :earseek:

HA! Just put the UG (User Guide) under the keyboard....no one will notice...or the phone...or my personal fav...on your lap under your desk... :rolleyes1
BUT...Im inexperienced in these matters...Ill shutup now. :rolleyes2

This morning I added some more ADR's because I am starting to panic a little b/c it is getting really close and the CM who helped me had no idea why the November hours were not listed...she told me she assumed they were already up!

This is sooooo lame! I can't believe that I am letting this get to me the way it has! I think my DH is more irritated with me than I am with WDW not posting their hours. pirate: Grrr...

For what it's worth.... I spoke with a CM about an hour ago who "appeared" to be in the know on the matter of operating hours and was, I believe, truly empathetic about our (November guests) situation. She said she has taken many calls inquiring as to the November schedule and after checking with her supervisors, told me what they told her. (PLEASE DON'T SHOOT ME--- THE MESSANGER)

Her response to me was, "in about two weeks."

<<< Ducking for cover :confused3

in 2 weeks....NNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! :guilty:
