Oh, bummer. :( It was just donated at the library and brought in especially this evening for me. I was extremely excited to see it.

Lots of people liked it. I thought it was ok, but not great. :)

Q is for Quarry by Sue Grafton.

I recently finished Tuesday's with Morrie and Five People You Meet in Heaven by Mitch Albom, both were very good reads.

I'm reading Q for Quarry, too! I got to page 300 on the train ride home tonight. I'll finish it before I go to bed tonight (if I ever get off the DIS!).

What are the chances? Italy. Japan. Same American book. I just happened to pick it up off a friend's book shelf in March as she was packing to move back to the US.

Amazing.

I'm reading the Da Vinci Code and also the first book in the Mitford Series.

The Devil Wears Prada:D It's fun trying to figure out who all the "fictional" characters really are!

Hiya Kim and fellow bookworms! :wave2:

I'm re-reading Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix for the 3rd time. Prior to that, I read Nick Hornby's About A Boy. I've got a whole slew of books that I haven't touched that I need to read after I'm done with the HP book - I just needed a fix so I'm rereading the OoP for any details or clues I might have missed the first two times. And since this book has SO many hidden clues, I have come across a few things I missed the first times around.

"The Theory of Learning in Games (Economic Learning and Social Evolution)" by Drew Fudenberg and David K Levine.

Don't tell me how it ends. I want to find out for myself.

thatchicktrish, thanks for reading the Unofficial Guide.

I'm reading...I don't have it with me, I think it's called The Adventures of Max Tivoli. Very interesting so far...it's about a person who ages backwards. Starts out looking old and ends up a baby.

I finished Holy Fools by Joanne Harris (author of Chocolat) last weekend. I highly recommend this--it was so interesting. Religious hysteria at a convent in the 1600's.

I'm reading Where and When by Anita Shreve. She also wrote A Pilot's Wife which was a Bestseller and an excellent read.

I have read so many of the books mentioned here - great minds think alike, huh?

I LOVE the No. 1 Ladies Detection Agency books, too. What a different life from ours.

Crimson Petal and the White was good. I'm curious to see what you think about the ending...

Right now I'm reading I Capture the Castle. I'm having a hard time getting into it but I'll keep trying.

Keep on reading and passing along the recommendations. Has anyone read The Passion of Artemesia? It's one of my favorites.
