Booking With Disney.com Cheaper Than Others

Hi,
Have just been checking hotel/ticket prices for October and was
wondering if anyone can explain why booking direct on the disney site
is cheaper by about $1000 for 5 nights than other companies such
as Dream Vacations I see advertised here regularly??

What sites have people used to book hotel/tickets etc other than
expedia, expedia has no rooms left for the first week of October.

Hmmm... It's hard to believe that you would come out cheaper booking directly through them, that's almost never the case. Are you sure the price you are quoted (by Disney) is not per person? My sister made that mistake, she called me and was all excited about the "great deal" she could get with the Magic packages. When we read the fine print, the prices were per person! I'm not saying you CAN'T get a great deal through them, just be sure you are comparing apples to apples.

That doesn't sound right to me either, I would be curious to know the details of your trip. You should also check Expedia for hotels because they have a 4th night free deal at the Disney hotels if your nights are still available. I don't think they sell admission tickets, so you would have to buy them separately.

I agree that this should not be the case. The only thing that could cause the price difference would be different requirements (resort, etc.) or if you are pricing a Package vs. Room Only (without Park Admission).
