Hi all! I’m currently booked on the Fantasy in December and I’m PRETTY sure it will go....but who knows. If I were to book a cruise on the Wish when it becomes bookable and pay the deposit...and then my December cruise cancels....can I move that $$ to my wish booking? I seem to remember something about the wish being exempt...

I should add, I already got my FCC from my Nov ‘20 cruise cancelling...so I wouldn’t be getting another one...I’d just be looking to move the total I have already towards the Wish booking.

It's a definite no for the maiden voyage, but I haven't seen anything about prohibiting FCC on other sailings.

My September 2021 cruise was cancelled at the start of April. At the part where information about FCC , this is included

Select Disney Wish block-out dates apply.

This is to me says that it is more than just the the maiden sailing that will be blocked out.

Check the expiration date on your FCC - it is likely prior to the Wish sailings. Mine from a 2021 sailing must be booked by spring 2022, & the Wish sailings don’t start until June, I was told the FCC does not reset/ push forward should the cruise I use it for be cancelled. also.

They extended the date of the FCC into September 2022. We had an email about it earlier this year. Ours is from an 8/2020 cancellation. (We had originally applied it to an 8/2021 cruise and then moved it to a 6/2022 cruise. Our OBB that we bought in 2018 was also able to be applied since Disney cancelled the cruise we were going to use it on!) However, not sure if the FCC will be able to be used on the Wish.

Yea I can’t find definitive info yet about which “selected bookings”. I’m definitely not aiming for the maiden voyage. I’ll have to check my FCC expiration though....I never paid much attention to that date bc I rebooked my next sail with it right away.

I checked yesterday and the only sailing that we could not use our FCC on was the maiden voyage. One thing to keep in mind is that if you have a lot of FCC and you book the Wish and then cancel your Fantasy sailing that you will not be able to get a refund of the cash that you used for your Wish down payment. You could cancel your Wish booking, get your cash refund and rebook the Wish at the likely higher prevailing rate. We just cancelled our July Fantasy sailing (a rebooked cruise from last July) and wanted to apply it to our May 22 sailing. The May sailing increased by $2200 if we wanted to rebook using only FCC. So in order to get our cash deposit back we would have to use $2200 more of our FCC.

Ok thanks! We’re not planning on cancelling our Dec cruise....we’ll sail if it sails....I just wondered what would happen if Disney cancels it and I already have a booking on the Wish. It sounds like, in that case, I’ll be able to apply my FCC towards the wish booking - as long as it’s not the maiden voyage. I’m not worried about getting the cash deposit back....I don’t even know if we COULD since we’re planning on booking concierge.
