Need a little help

Im thinking of booking with Chase Sapphire points. Spoke to Dis reservations they said that I f I book through Chase, Chase owns the reservation. Besides the fact that I use points for the reservation, can anyone tell me the advantages or disadvantages of booking this way. I have only booked through Disney in the past. The trip is being planned for Dec 19 - 22.

Thanks for all your help

I haven't done this myself, but have booked plenty of other travel using my Chase points. Chase Travel Center would be your TA for the trip, so any changes to your reservation would be made through them. It's no different than booking through other online travel providers, like Expedia or Travelocity.

Chase becomes your "travel agent". We do this with amex every few years. I regret it as soon as I do it each time since you can't call directly and make any changes, but you cant beat a "free" vacation so I do it again as soon as we have enough points.

Do you get a better deal if you book through them? I have Chase Sapphire and I always just Pay Myself Back.

Typically you save 10% off published prices when using chase points with airlines, hotels, etc. . .
