How do i go about getting the group of 5 of us seated together

Shall i just get to the airport an hour earlier than i usally do for a trip to the US

Depends which airline. I am booked with Expedia for August AirFrance reservation/Delta planes. I have prebooked seats with AirFrance.

If its with Virgin you can log onto Virgin Atlantic and pick seats.

Very rarely are Expedia cheapest these days, if you want to post details, dates, times etc I will look for cheaper if you want, I am only using Expedia this year because of an error/offer/mistake? got business class for economy price.

I've already booked them, The Virgin site would not give the baby (15mts old) her own seat but Expedia have done, I didnt really want my daughter having to hold/pass the baby for 9hrs

Would have thought you can log into VA website and sort seats, if you don't have the correct info to log in ask Expedia for it.

You should be able to log on to the Virgin website and books seats.

We booked our very first trip over with coop travel and were able to book seats, however you cannot check in online if you have an infant in your party!!! we have always paid for a seat for our little one so i could let him sleep in the chair rather than on my lap. They may have changed this policy now as the last trip this effected was 2007, but just a little warning :)

You should be able to log on and pre book your seats as everyone has paid for a seat. We booked with Expedia in September to fly with Virigin in November 2008. We where able to prebook our seats but did not have an infant.
We booked again with Virgin for August 2009 with an infant. We are unable to log on pre book our seats but we have not paid for a seat for the infant.
