Booking today!

I'm thinking today is the day we book our flight for January! I've been debating on waiting to see what would happen once airtran puts their flights out for Jan (20/21-28th) but with the way oil & gas prices keep going up I'm thinking now might be the time to buy since we are ok with the prices. (Rather be safe than sorry)

Our debate was to fly into TPA or MCO.. we are staying offsite in Davenport so the hr drive from TPA isn't that big of a deal for us.

For us to fly into MCO & rent a car it would be $1246.40 (That's spending Friday night at Disney and then renting a car Saturday @ Disney and returning it to MCO... if we rented it from MCO Saturday night it would cost $167 more for one night of us just sleeping.. no thank you!)

Flying into TPA and renting a car would cost us $1175.67

Then I decided what if we flew into MCO and flew out of TPA (I like the flights out of TPA better as we wouldn't have to be to the airport until 10am instead of 6am) and found out with the car rental it would be $1126.81!

I would book the flight now.. but would rather talk it over with DH first even though I know he will say he don't care.

I'm just so right now!

We had a similiar situation. We were staying offsite in Davenport too. We actually flew into Daytona but then flew home out of Tampa. Flights were so much cheaper this way instead of using MCO since it was February vacation week. Driving to Tampa was very easy from Davenport.
