As far as I know, only OKW studios has 2 "real" queen beds. IMO, a murphy and sleeper sofa are not real beds. I just looked at the BCV studio and I thought they were tight before, once you opened up the sleeper sofa, but I cannot imagine how tighter it will feel with the murphy being down also.

You are correct re: DVC Studios.

Most have a queen-sofa sleeper config, with VWL, Poly, VGF and now BWV and soon BCV having the murphy bed to stuff in a 5th. BLT and AKV are not expected to add murphy beds in studios any time soon. Hard to say what happens with SSR and OKW when they get around to refurbs.

We have tried to rent through Davids many times - they were never able to get us the resort and room type that we wanted for the dates that we wanted. NEVER.

Rental brokers are unlikely to get people many of the DVC booking types, most particularly:

• AKV Value or Club Level
• BWV Standard Studios (ever)
• Grand Floridian Studios (ever)
• Most BWV/BCV studios for Food & Wine
• BLT Standard Studios during MNSSHP/MVMCP

Other room types can be variable. The greatest number of points out there, and also owners renting, are at SSR, OKW and AKV. Those are also the biggest resorts. There is very limited inventory for the cheapest rooms at BLT, AKV and BWV, and owners have to book them at (or before, using trickery) 11 months. Rental brokers are working through owners, and are rarely making the booking at 8AM.

If you want certain room types, you need to find a private transaction through an owner at the target resort who is either willing to be online at 7:59AM for you, or who is willing to walk the reservation for you. This will generally cost $15-18/point.
