Hi,

Hope some one can give us some good info on the cheapest way to book our holiday. I've trawled through various different ways of doing this, but does anyone have any experience on the best way to go about it?

2 adults, 1 child (6), 1 infant (1)
Coronado Springs Resort 23 Aug 08 for two weeks
Disney dining package
10 Day Park tickets with water parks and Park Hopper

Is it better to book everything separate, Flights, Hotel, Dining, Tickets?

Or book flights and hotel together and everything else separate.

Some general recommendations will be much appreciated as we need to book soon so we can start with our ADR's

Thanks.

Normally I would say do not discount package deals but I always seem to get a better deal if I do it all separately myself.

I know it take a lot more legwork but is more rewarding especially if you make some savings. Try airline network first for flights and that should come up with some good prices - if you want to deal with someone face to face go into a Thomas Cook and tell them what flights you saw for what price - they will normally manage to price match.

So that's the flights - I also booked accomodation directly with Disney and Universal - dinner reservations I can't help with.

For disney tickets goto either attraction tickets direct or theme park tickets (direct?) and go for the 14 day ultimate disney ticket - will include everything you want and is better value IMO than the 10 day tickets.

Hope this helps somewhat but more than happy to share my booking experiences - in fact still trying to sort out some things :)

Thanks for that,

Exactly why I started the thread, to get some good guidelines on booking the holiday from the UK.

The two ticket websites were spot on

attraction-tickets-direct.co.uk
themeparkticketsdirect.com

attraction tickets direct also offer the same hotel and dining package as you would get direct from disney, however it works out cheaper due to free child dining I believe.

I hope to update this thread with cheaper options to get the perfect holiday.

So any additions would be excellent

Thanks

We usually get theme park tickets from www.onlineflorida.co.uk. Their 14 day disney ticket is £165 which seems quite cheap. They are the real tickets too. I don't think you can get a 10 day disney in the Uk any more. We used to get that one but couldn't see it last year.
