Booking seats on VA

Hi if I have booked a package holiday through virgin holidays when do I get to book my seat on the plane as I can not log in on virgin atlantic without my ticket ref ?

Yes you need your vh booking ref and then it will tell you it cant find it so add the flight numbers in and you should find it

Some people get on using their VH reference number. I phoned VA and asked for my seat locator number and they gave it to me and I was able to book my seats - this was a couple of weeks ago and we dont go till October. One thing to watch though - I still couldnt get on, but then put in my first and middle name together with no space, and it worked.

The best way to do this is to email VH. Go onto the web site and you can email from there. The reason I say its the best way is because they email you your exact ref number thats needed along with how they have spelt your name. If you don't have these exact its hit or miss if you can get on. They normally respond very quickly.

Thanks tried it without a space in middle name and it did it but it now says it can't retrieve details as there is a change in the flight time ?

This happened to me last week regarding flight vs075, its because the arrival time at Orlando is now 3.20 not 3.25. All you need to do is call VH and tell them whats happened and they will reset the system so you can look at your booking Its just a way to make you aware of the time change. One thing though i remember somebody saying once that when that happened to them they lost their seat reservation, so just double check everything is in order.

Hi, I'm in exactly the same position although I only booked our holiday on Thursday so perhaps its not properly on the system. I was give the ref.no. is it a 7 digit number? We don't fly until 5th November so are unable to reserve any seats as yet as they are updating their seat reservation system. I did get the guys name and email address who we made our booking with so will drop him a line this week.

I dropped an email to VH and its now been re set and have booked my seats.

Looks like I'm on the 747 on the way out and the new airbus coming back

sighs I want to book my october one but im waiting to get a date from my sons mum when hes visiting from oz so the dates dont clash
