Booking Room Only Online

I am trying to get a quote for room only using the web site. I don't seem to be able to do it. Am I doing something wrong or is this what everyone is experiencing? I could call, but what I really want is a hard copy quote. I am not having any problems with a package quote.

From the front page of the site www.disneyworld.com, where you put in your travel dates, be sure to click on room only at the top. This should get you a room only rate. Hope this helps!

first don't put your stuff in immediately - go to tickets & reservations - then do room only

put in your dates and stuff - click

now pick your resort - disney will also put you in preferred first - so first change (if you can) - click on standard (or whatever you want) - then click on update.

look on the small screen to your right - if this is what you want then click on select this offer.

you get a last minute look to check that everything is what you wanted. then select - book now

if you still have problems - come back and ask again

You don't mention what dates you're looking for. I've been unable to do room-only for anything in 2009, but they can make reservations & quotes prices for room only when you call.

You can book 2009 room only reservations by calling Disney Travel but the rate quoted will be 2008 rates. The rate will be adjusted once the 2009 rates are published.

You're right & I should have been more clear. I've een unable to do anything for 2009 ON THE SITE, but was able to make a room-only reservation when I called Disney. Yes, I was told the rate would change but that's alright with me.
