Booking ROL package or Fantasmic package

We've never booked either the ROL or Fantasmic packages but are considering both for our next trip. I know you can't book those until 3 months out so in order to make sure you have an ADR for the restaurant do you book it as a regular ADR at 6 months and then just call 3 months out when the packages are released to change it?

You can book at the 180 day mark. I just went on to check and was able to find and would be able to book the fantasmic package at brown derby. We loved our seats when we did the fanstamic package and are doing it again next trip. ROL seems to get less rave reviews and essentially you are paying more for your dinner for those ROL seats. I would look at the feed back to see if booking a packages for that is essential for good seats at that show.

Thanks for the info...I wonder if the ROL package is different because their website says the times aren't released until 3 months out.
We are using DDP so the cost really isn't an issue.
