Booking online question - does availability change?

Hi all - I'm looking at the end of October/beginning of November for this year, and there are a number of hotels that aren't available. Typically, does this mean that those resorts are totally out, or do they release blocks of rooms periodically, and I should keep looking back?

You're not the only person caught out by it, but if hotels don't open, it could mean availability will be low.
