I want to book a wedding/ cruise for 2007 when i go on the repo cruise next aug. Do you really save that much or is it still cheaper to go with www.allseastravel.com ? Do you know if you have to give your deposit as soon as you book it or do they give you a few days.?

If I were you I would book while onboard. That way you'll get the 10% discount and $200 stateroom credit. Now that this is said, most likely the 2007 dates will still not be out, so what you'll need to do is book a cruise in 2006 and when the 2007 dates come out move your booking to 2007 date. CM most likely will book you in December 2006. Yes, you will be required to put down your deposit when you book. Also, if you decide to book while aboard you should, as soon as you get home, fax a request to Inventory Control (407-566-7739) giving them your reservation number(s) and stating that you're currently booked for 2006 but want to move your booking to a whatever date in 2007 because of your wedding/honeymoon. This would be a good way to request a specific stateroom. HTH

turtle51- Book onboard for the discount and stateroom credit and then switch your ressie to AllSeasons for an extra rebate offer. Mine was another 150.00 on top of my savings.

We just sailed on the 10/31 Wonder cruise and I went fully expecting to book onboard for the 11/05/05 Magic cruise. I did my homework though and when we sat down with the CM I had quotes from 2 other travel agencies in habd. The quote I got from www.Dreamsunlimited.com was much less than the onboard offer of 10% off and the $200 cabin credit. The CM was a bit surprised but told me to go and book with them - so I did.

Can you get the 10% discount if you book on board for a Cat 3? I am trying to determine if I can get a better price by doing that, or just trying my TA. But I am not sure they discount suites.

we want to cruise in 2007. those dates aren't out yet. we were onboard earlier this week, so we booked a cruise in 2006 with the intention of moving it to 2007 when those dates are announced. the 10% discount and $200 stateroom credit will transfer to the 2007 booking.

you do not have to make the deposit onboard, we asked if we could pay the deposit by the 3 or 5 day deadline (we booked on our last night on the ship). stephanie gave us our ressie # and I just called today and put down the deposit. no problems whatsoever.

now if you're booking on the repo cruise, unless you're booking on your last night, the deposit due date will be while you're on the ship so you might as well pay the deposit at the time you're booking.

We ended up saving money even over all seas by booking on board, plus we ended up with $350 in onboard credit in the end. We booked on board in October for a cruise in 2006....so we got the discount and stateroom credit. Then we transferred the ressie to AAA and got an additional $150 stateroom credit. We ended up changing our sail date in the end, but when I compared what we are paying vs. what allseas is offering, we still are saving about $200. Book on board, then come home and shop around!

Yes, you get the 10% discount if you book a Cat. 1, 2 or 3 suite if you book on board. HTH

If you're a member of Costco, you can save around 10% off. We rebooked while onboard and saved the 10% and got the $200 shipboard credit. When we got home, I called Costco and wound up saving an additional $266 on top of it all.

First timer here, so forgive is this is a stupid question. Is the 10% on top of early booking discount? And is the shipboard credit for all catagory staterooms, even the cheapest?Thanks.

I have a question regarding transferring a reservation - do you get to keep shipboard credits received from Disney when you do this or does it depend on the TA?

As long as you transfer your ressie and don't cancel and rebook with another TA, you get to keep your 10% discount and shipboard credit in addition to whatever the TA is offering.

Yes.

You get a $100 stateroom credit if you rebook a 4 night cruise, or a $200 stateroom credit if you rebook a 7 night cruise, or a $400 stateroom credit if you rebook a land/sea package.

And you do keep the stateroom credit if you TRANSFER to a travel agent (not cancel with DCL and rebook through the TA).
