Booking new Cruise with OBB

I'm very not together on this trip since I didn't think it would happen I do have an OBB from our first cruise, no travel agent (I didn't transfer it in time since I just started planning this yesterday). So I'm sitting around on hold with DCL and playing with the website booking, but see now place on website booking to use OBB, so I'm assuming I need to call them?

Also, am I good calling about a new reservation, or does that mean I need to modify an existing?


I assume other people are waiting on hold and hanging out on the board....

Yes you need to call but not sure on the second part. I'm fairly sure anyone on the phone lines can help though - once you get through

I am sitting on hold also to rebook a cruise with a OBB.

You definitely have to call in to modify a placeholder. It doesn't really matter if you choose modify or new reservation--just give them the placeholder when you get through.

Thanks guys, I figured as much... can't find one of the OBB numbers anyways, so I figured I'd have to have help. Lets see, only an hour so far.....

@Crisi83 Your OBB should have a reservation number, even if it is a placeholder or assigned a specific date. You'll need to modify that reservation. If it's just a placeholder then you definitely need to call. I'm not sure if you can modify online if it's assigned to a specific date (we used to be able to but I haven't tried in the new website).

I'm sure a LOT of people are both online and onhold this morning.

I'm on hold to transfer an OBB as well. Called right at 5 am (I'm in Calif) and was on hold for about 50 minutes before my phone disconnected and I had to start over. Ugh!!!!!

Oh no! I shouldn't tell you that I also called in at 5 and they answered me at just past 6 -_- So you were probably almost there!

But yay, I am all booked and taken care of, and could go back to sleep in theory if the kiddo wasn't up 4 hours earlier then she normally is -_- Guess she gets a snack then try to get her to go back to sleep with me...
