Booking ME through MS online request

I filled out the online Magical Express request information through the member site a week or so ago, and all that I have received is an email with a summary of my request with no confirmation number or any other reference number to know that my request went through. Has anyone else ever requested ME this way? and is this normal or do you think I need to call to make sure that it was processed/confirmed and that we will have tags etc? Any information you can provide will be greatly appreciated (We are so excited for our first DVC stay in October and I just want to make sure that everything is all set)

I went back and checked my emails regarding our ME request for May. The only thing I received was the email (no confirmation #) and about the 45 day mark I received the ME package in the mail. I wouldn't be too concerned but if you don't receive your ME package a month before your scheduled vacation, I would definitely contact MS about it. You would still have time for them to be mailed.

Good luck! We are going down again in Oct. (23-30) and as yet I have not contacted MS re ME. I do have my flight times so I better get it done!

Call DME at: (866) 599-0951 to verify your reservation. We average a 50% mistake rate from MS.

I have used the online ME request about a dozen times with no issues. I always receive my luggage tags about 5 to 6 weeks before my trip.

One time I almost forgot and made the online request less than 30 days in advance. I received the luggage tags in about a week. I did not have to call.

Thank you so much for all of the information I just thought it was strange that they have not sent some sort of confirmation number as I have gotten in the past when booking through my TA (pre DVC days). I will wait it out for now and around the 30 day mark I will give them a call if I don't have tags yet.
